the whole thing with the trpas/power/60ft is quite confusing some times...

I agreee with Warr thought that your power in not high to make these lower ETs which is proven from your traps...

on my very first pass ever with a 2.1sec 60ft i managed a 12.8 but with 112mph trap
second i did a 1.9sec 60ft and a 12.49 ET with 113mph
third i did a 1.9 60ft and 12.45 with 114mph
fourth i did a 1.72 60ft and 12.14 with 114.2 mph

stock clutch, restrictor pill on, cat, shifting over 7500-7600rpm (bad) on 23psi...

my point is if the car has the power it will show it even with crappy 2.1 60fts...

I think definitely you need more mods...

Trust me, go back out, shift at 7100rpm's and see what happens.

So shift at 7100 in all gears, or go a bit higher in 1st and second?

7100 is all gears and then ride out 4th as far as it will go.

Although you have an MR so you might have to shift into 5th

Depending on where the mail in flash came from you might actually be making some power higher than 7100. I found that when I had that combo (my differing opinions on tuning aside) 75-7600 yielded the best shifts. I ran 12.09 @ 112.5 (peak of 113.53) with more or less the same mods minus fuel pump in my MR, stayed in 4th the whole way. I was stock turbo and cams, on 18's, and really only had a drop in, my tune, and TBE when I made those passes.

All IX's have very close to the same 1-4 gear ratios, unlike VIII's where the gsr/rs and MR are much different. He shouldn't be shifting into 5th yet, period.
