^^ No. Your MPH are very close on both runs indicating a solid tune.

Your are running nearly 114mph which is very good. Not sure why people are claiming its low. Certainly not low for pump gas.

Nice driving and keep up the good work.
No, that is nowhere close to average of what you see on the West Coast. I doubt you've EVER seen an Evo run 11.7 or 11.8 with only 113mph traps, so there's no chance you see that on average. Most people running 11.7-11.8s are trapping 117+. Of course, this is Oscar, so his driving is great, but the traps do indicate some knock on the top-end. 360+whp should be 115-116mph traps, especially with the weight reduction and no wing, but the traps may be affected by top-end knock or by extremely low tire pressure. The ETs are great, so the power numbers look right, but the traps are off for a currently unknown reason.

Are you using the NLTS mod in the flash? You should pick up some time with it..

Because if you don't exaggerate, the traps are BELOW 114, and one is barely even 113 despite having an 11.7 trap. Most people are lucky to even hit 12.0-12.1 with a 113mph trap, and that's only with good 60's. These 60's are good, too, but they don't explain the extra .3-.4s gained. That time is coming from the extra power, which definitely is there, but it's petering out on the top end. 114 definitely IS good for pump gas, but this is a 116-117mph car. People are claiming it's low because of the 11.7-11.8 ET. 113 is extremely low for those traps, especially considering the 60's, which are very good, but not out of the ordinary.

Scott@TTP will be logging the car soon to see whats going on in the top end. The car is VERY fast and the tq is insane but dont know whats happening up top since i didnt have anything to log the runs with. I will try to have the car looked at and go back to the track on saturday to see if we can run faster!! Thanks for the comments guys

MPH is a little low Miguelin, for how the car was driven and preped.
I also have to agree that something is happening either between shifts or on the top to hurt traps.
Stock Evos gain 21 mph between 1/8 and 1/4. You should gain 23 or more there.
Your 1/8 91+ MPH is good. Something is going on after that. You need to find out.

The overall performance is awesome, so .

My car is going through the same thing. The car is running really strong in mid range but I m still trapping 113mph we have the same mods but I still have the stock plugs so I was thinking that was the issue. Scott will also take a look at my tune as soon as the plugs come in. I have been running 12.1 consistantly and trapping 113mph with 1.7-1.8 60 ft but that's on a full weight car with 3/4 tank of 93 oct

i know evo4 is far lighter but i ran a 12.2 with a trap of 111mph on a **** luanch if i managed a clean run wit a good launch i would have run a 12.0 at 111 that would correspond with this 11.8 at 113 would it not?

(rough rule ive been told 1mph = .1sec)??

i now have another 20odd whp so hoping to do 11s next week.

Maybe 4th gear slippage?

The original 4th gear of the IX is very low... Maybe due to riding in 4th and with the low boost 23psi which in 4th gear and 7000+ rpm is way down the car cannot pull that high traps... Probably it has a killer midrange thus the good 1/4 but when riding in 4th for the traps the car has lower boost and less power close to the rev limit...

Really dont know whats going on until i take it to my tuner and he logs the car, sometimes my car breaks up in between slow shifts and sputters, i got 21k miles on the stock plugs but it wasnt breaking up last night. Car could be pulling timing up top, who knows?
