most STis with that much hp have trouble hitting 11s (driver) whereas a stock turbo STi with bolt ons has ran an 11.7 before, pretty funny

 

The story behind this car from when I saw the video and nasioc a while back is it was on the low boost setting. The kid bought the car off of someone with all the mods already done to it. He obviously didn't know what he was doing. Even the former owner chimed and and had a chuckle but confirmed he was on low boost

 

The brim of the hat must have caused the extra drag-- otherwise I'm sure it would have been in the 10's

500WHP (Well 507 on a dynojet) got me high 10's which to me is pretty good considering the ****ty gearing and the mods I have. But is true most people with these cars can't drive worth a damn!

im actually good friends with sean and have some of his parts on my car as well as the same setup as him as well as the same tuner it wasnt a miracle he could have done better but he got his license taken away a little while later because unfortunately he does not always race on the track...
