Maybe AWD on the Launch and then having it become RWD when the traction has caught up.

though not RWD, i kind of like the idea of the VW R32. when the fronts start slipping the rears kick in. AWD off the launch and FWD there after having less drivetrain loss than AWD or RWD.

[QUOTE=housedj;5158956]not if the viper has spent the same amount in mods as that 35R evo. it's silly to compare a modded car to a stock one & even if the evo had more power, it's challenged aerowise over 150mph. most street races in FL roll from 80-180
or better yet, how about a viper using TWIN 35R sized turbos:

hey... i knew i was gonna get one, BRO just for (example) the pros are in a whole
nother level,JOE'S like me,that can't afford a viper...has to put a 35r to make 500hp,vipers come 505hp no mods...JUST FOR EXAMPLE 2.0l awd vs v10 rwd on the street the awd...lets just say it's a wrap!!

On the street, AWD is the better choice. But at the track where traction is not an issue, RWD will dominate AWD.

Best of both world set up is like the R33 and R34 Skylines GTR. Most of the time it is RWD, but when traction is need it becomes AWD.

AWD SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant get a normal launch if my life depended on it, at least with RWD, there is burnout and then normal acceleration; with Awd, nothing but bogging, and stalling
