nice time for your mods, i'm just a little below that time now with 16.2-16.4, at 84-87 mph, a header should help your top end alot, that's also a good 60' time..i have yet to get lower than 2.4, and that was with not even sreaching the tires at all....everytime i launch at that rpm level i spin all the wa thru 1st..or hop it thru...maybe my stock tires are just too bald..well newayz..good time

Ultimate Racing Evo ran 11's. Blacklancer do you shift to fourth gear because that trap speed is very good. On the launch I had some coaching from the guy as some raced on the drag circuit, what worked best for me is to rev to 3700rpm and let the clutch out guickly and smooth don't dump it had a little chirping but still moved out chirped shifting second.

 

No i finish the run still in 3rd...barely..so far it has't hit redline, but it's over 6000 rpms...i think it's like 6200 or so

 

my evo lost its virginity at the track this weekend also... first was sat i went to capital ran 4x... NASTY times... 1st time on the line was a lil nervous haha... but ne wayz 1st and 2nd run was NASTY.... 2.1 / low 2.2 60z with ****in mid 14z!... both times i missed 3rd gear... on my 3rd run i bogged like **** off the line but hit every gear with the quickness... still ran ****... nasty *** 60 low 2.3! but still somehow managed trap speed of 95.x mph mid 14.4 or some **** ... 4th time i was pissed and i came out at 6k.... 1.9x 60 / 14.1x @ 97 .... i ran another one after and was 1.9x and 14.1x @ 96.x mph.... after that i was like **** this and i left..... now today i was very pissed so i went to MIR... clutch was slippin a lil worse... ( it has been slippin for about 500 miles now)... first run at MIR busted a ****ty 2.1 60 with 14.3 @ 95.x mph... 2nd run busted a 1.9x w/ 14.1x.... i did 15 RUNS and i only stopped cuz my CLUTCH WAS catching about 1% and i had to crawl the car home... my best run was sadly a low 1.9x 60 and 14.05 @96.07.... i kno i am not the best in launchin my awd monster yet... but wtf im runnin 1.9x 60'z and all my traps have bee 95-98 mph.... was this cuz my clutch was ****tY??? or was it just me...??? my fastest trap speed the whole tim was a 98.46... i ran a 14.165 on that one w/ a lousy 2.131 60 ft'... my times dont make sense!!! could my clutch be the guy at fault???

 

I have yet to run at the track to get accurate 1/4 mile and other times, but a few of my team members from my car club have run at the track. One being a '99 Cavi with custom **** out the ***! His best run was 15.99 @ 89mph. On the street I run nose to nose right with him......so I'm expecting right around 16.00 when I hit the track!

 

What kind of mods do you guys think it would take to run anywhere in the 15's with a US Lancer?

 

atleast..all basic mods, headers, intake, catback exhaust, test pipe, TB, ..that should salvage low 16's and with the new ECU you should be in 15's
