2 step boost level, what are you targeting?
I was wondering what boost level people are targeting when they are using their 2 step on regular street tires?
i recently got my 2 step working & would like to hear what works best for other people / recomendations / experience.
i am also on the oem clutch, but i dont know for how much longer!
i have a fp-grn....you may want to note what turbo set-up your using too.
TIA

^ not sure of the loads, as i am running a aem ecu...
logged data claims 4deg @ 20 psi @ 5,500 rpm this is about 2 deg less than my cal file for the same map points.... i run 91 octane....unless i need to log something different than ign timing.....maybe total applied ign or something like that..... i will look to see what the final timing parameter name is called....
i have a 200 rpm split between retard rev & retard fuel cut...from what i have read, if i reduce the rpm gap, i will generate less boost.....
is there a agreed upon "correct boost level to launch at? i understand it is far easier to change your launching rpm than boost level.....
hence the reaason for this poll / post.
thanks for your input guys

Reviving this thread, somewhat out of context.
I only build 6psi with the 2 step set at 5700rpm on reflashed stock ECU. '03, with just a TBE. Does this seem low? Stupid leaky plastic DV or other boost leak maybe?
