slicks and wheels

So we got an ams small brake kit and are wondering what wheels and tires will fit? What did you have to do to make your 15" wheels clear the calipers? What size/model/offset do you have? I have a set of 15X7.5 rota slipstreams that look like they will need a 15mm spacers. I guess I want to see what other proven options are out there?

Any help would be great!
Thanks in advance
-Emery

Motegi trak lites or Volk Ce28's seem to be the most common in a 15x6.5. Spacers need to be used from what I'm told.

i see most people going with Motegi trak lites since they are light and cheap. anything else will be more money.

and tire you can go with a et street if want P235/60R15

I would like to go with a trak lite but am not sure what it takes to make it fit....The size im thinking of is a 15x6.5 with a +35 offset. Does anyone know what is needed to make this fit? Also the tire I am gonna use is a hoosier qt pro. 26.10 tall. Does anyone else use this combo? Here is the link for the tire.......http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Thanks

those are the same rims i want to go with. you can go with wilwood front brake and or get jap evo 7 rs front brake. the back you can leave stock to fit. for the spacer i do not belive you need any since its a +35 same as stock.

That is the correct set up and I just bought the same set up. You will need spacers(not sure what mm yet) and long studs. Give me a few days and I'll get you all the info, send me a pm.

if you shave down the caliper a little bit, you won't need a spacer.

yea and while you are at why don't you shaved down them break lines.
if you shave the caliper you have a good chance that you will weakin the caliper and even have a higher chance of cracking. so i wouldn't shave the caliper down at all.

I highly doubt that... made many passes on mine braking at 150+ street driven etc and there are no issues. Its just the upper right hand corner you shave down very slightly. Best thing is to get a spacer to fit

i wasn't aware 15" wheels clear the brembos on the rear. if so that just saved me some money as i was under the impression that i had to buy the rear willwood kit to clear 15's.
