Took my RS to the 1/8th mile track here in Dorchester. I ran a couple of runs and didn't do any better than 7.5 @ 95.4 mph. Then my good friend Dennis arrived and proceeded to lay down an astounding 7.3 @ 101.3 mph!!! Obviously he can drive a little better than I.

The car was spinning all the way thru 1st and part of second. I planned to lower the tire pressure but the water pump took a dump when we were lining up for a 4th pass. Oh well.

ahh im from the upper part of the state my best is 7.86 on a stock turbo i see you guys have some fast evos down there. There are about 4 evos up here that are decent we will have to come down and check you guys out

 

It would have been niftier still if the water pump had not chosen yesterday to die an early death.

Well thanks Dave as always its a pleasure to drive this car. However guys this car is way faster that it went on Sunday. The car has went a 7.20 at 96mph and it was also about 30hp less. The track was not prepped well and the car spun hard threw 1st.


The car will go atleast a 7.15 and I am gonna push it til it goes atleast 7.09. Unfortunaly Dave and another friend of ours took off to Jackson with the evo and a dsm with a stage 3 block/stage 3 head/ meth and a to4z turbo with around 550whp and this power was put down on a mustang dyno. The dsm did not even break into the 10's. Dave had little turbo trouble and could not get into the 11's. But when we return we will put up vids and also a pic of that 10 sec daily driven time slip.

We are always ready for some evo company. We also have a bolt on evo with not even a good tune that runs 7.6's on a stock clutch stock turbo with gsc cams/filter and arc filter. come on down

 

I should have made it down there to see it. I would have loved to see it in action with Dennis/David behind the wheel! Great times guys!
