I've searched through this forum, and couldn't find any. Has anyone taked their stock 10 to the strip yet? Any help is much appreciated.

Note: I know magazines run their own QM's, but I want some times run by people who know what they're doing. Motor trend ran a 13.5 with the IX SE, but many people run 13.1. I just want to see how much lower people can run the X.

 

x's are slower in a straight line then IX's are....

Note: STOCK Evo X. I'm suprised that no one answer in the last couple days. Maybe I'm not the only one who wants to know?

 

Well he was saying X's are slower than 9's cause as far as ive seen the X's run mid to high 13's not 13.1. Ive seen one run in person 4 passes and was consistant 13.9's and 1 13.8. There are a couple vids on youtube if you wana look there.

Also curious where you ever saw a 13.1? Car is way to heavy for those #'s stock.

EDIT: Ahhh, I see the trouble here, you wanted to know how much lower people can run the X than the MAGAZINE, not how much lower than the IX

There were 3 X's at "Winged Warrior IV", one ran a 13.1, but I think he had bolted up an exhaust, don't know for sure... the other two were AMS and Buschur. And thanks to the HOT LAPPING they made everyone do, I didn't get a chance to see the times. Once they post up final results I'll see how close to stock the 13.1 guy was.

 

i'd like to see what these are capable of stock as well

 

I went 13.7@ 101 in a customers bone stock car.
