Went to the Route 66 track yesterday!

I went to the track with my friend again and ran better than I did last time... I was running with bald stock yokos, AEM CAI, Buschur exhaust, and test pipe. On my launch I was experimenting with revving it up and slipping it and I was powershifting down the track. I got a 16.882 with a 60' of 2.396 and a trap of 80.27, my last run I got a 16.939 with a 60' of 2.357 and a trap of 80.48...

At least I got my car into the 16's for now until I get my header and ECU. My header is gonna be put on in about a week and for the ECU probably a month.

thanks

need feedback on how to get better times...

Have you ever experienced other tracks besides the one in Joliet? Route 66 is by far the best drag strip in our area. They take better care of their pavement.

You should get down to a 16.7, thats my best with intake and axleback. I knw have a testpipe and header and on a ****y night I ran a 16.4 at 83mph. I think I can get another 2 tenths on a cold crisp night.
