.1 in the 60ft is usually worth .2 in the 1/4 mile.

So in theory with my last track time 1.636 60ft 11.09@123.55 IF I dropped my 60ft down to a 1.43 with slicks I could run a 10.69??

I went 10.6@135 on a 1.64 60ft. Put the slicks on and went 10.4@135 on a 1.52 60ft.

Thank you sir Guess that means I should be shooting for a 10.8 on the stock turbo when I go out with slicks next time.

i did this in the street with a driftbox also in a car before i got the evo.
as you can see by the G force (green) not a hard launch and then it bogs before
picking up some decent G as it gets on boost.
quite happy that for what it was going on slowrice guesstimate i could have done a 2sec 60' so thats 1 sec quicker so should of nailed off 2 secs at the end.
it already did 107et.
big up to my old car and the driftbox sort of a thread

While I do agree with you somewhat....the day I had the slicks on was actually a worse day weather-wise than when I had street tires on.

SPIN2GST has the same setup as me. He went 10.8@135 on street tires and then went 10.1@143 on the slicks. From what I remember he did have better weather on the slicks night. 1.7x and 1.4x 60fts respectively.

Ive never had a 9 second car but many expeiriences with that 1.7-1.6 that one tenth seems to be worth .2 - .3 at the top end and in my experience lost 1-2mph ,,, guess i dont know for sure what happens at the higher power levels

not a very serious thread by any means so just ppl's thoughts / opinions in here mostly.
agree with above mph shines after grip is established and more reflects the power
possibly!?

a loss in mph can't right tho surely ?
