Has anyone tried these tires: M/T ET street radial II?
As the title says I'm looking for some slicks or drag radials to use this year and was wondering if anyone has used these tires on a evo yet. part # is 3740R size P205/40R17 24X8.50R17 approved for a 7.0-8.0 rim and what are your thoughts on them? also how to they compare the the bfg drag radials and the M/T motorcycle slicks? Are these tires more related to a drag radial that a slick?
I know the M/T motorcycle slicks are a popular choice but i am skeptical to use them since they are not made for cars and my tuner or M/T does not recommend them even though many people have run them with great success.
If any other tire options for the stock wheels are available please let me know as well.

Interesting how new are these?
If they are the same compound as the ET street "RADIALS" then they should act similar to ET streets (bias ply) but with a harder sidewall obviously for street use.
Got a link to pics and more info?
I think if these will fit properly and have a good compound than they should give the bfg and not yet released Hoosiers a run for their money.
Cost?

i was actually thinking of getting those tires too, however they are VERY low and they will definitely hurt our trap speeds... You need to rev the engine very high to get decent traps...
according to my gear calculator with a rev limiter at 8500rpm
rev drop speed MPH
1st to 2nd 2548 47
2nd to 3rd 2397 67
3rd to 4th 2246 94
4th to 5th 2220 127
5th top speed 172
Only 127mph in 4th at 8500rpm!!!
