Pics from Buschurs Sport Compact Event..
Didn't get as many keepers as I would have liked, but here are a few finalists..
Knowing this was a faily small turnout event, I was trying lots of new stuff with my camera, some I liked, and some I didn't.
I'll wait for feedback..
Camera is a 40d with 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens. I didn't take take the lens off the camera all day, there wasn't much to shoot in the pits that warranted going back to the car to change lenses.
I will be going through the pics (700 or so) and trying to salvage some more later this week.

This would have turned out better, but I thought Jamie was coming to the left lane to run, so I had to shoot the pics with the track officials in the way...

The Supra has been upper 7's at low 180's in the past.
I believe they changed the turbo for this year to get it going a little quicker and faster.
They just had the car tuned this past week and took it easy and went mid 9's the first pass.
Unfortunately, they had a gremlin pop up (not mechanical) and packed it up after the first pass.
We all wanted to see it at full steam!

Not sure on the quickest EVO, two of our guys, Matt and Brian both ran in the 9.90's that may be the quickest.

No, the Black AMS evo was on 16" Hoosier QTPs on CCW Classic wheels.
I believe Matts car was the fastest at 9.91 and mine was second at 9.95. Believe MPHs were 143 and 147, respectively.
