Went to the drag strip last week...

And it was awesome!!!!!

At first I was a little nervous about half launching my car because I didn't want to look like a scrub. First run I ran a 13.9, second 13.5, third 15.00 ( because I messed up) and fourth and final 13.3.

I don't have many mods but here they are:
Evo 9 BOV
walboro fuel pump
injen intake/ lower and upper IC piping
MBC
JGT Turboback
and an AMS tune @ 24 PSI on the stock turbo

I really want to use the twostep AMS had setup but I'm waiting on my exedy twin disc because my car is my DD. So hopefully I'll be in the high 12s after the new clutch because I didn't want to dump it on my stock clutch

yeahhhhhh EVOS!!!

your car seems pretty quick , especially for walking it off the line. you got a lot of room for improvement . keep up the good work.

I would love to get cams and go ***** to the wall but I can't until I get a turbo diesel work truck.

At AMS Chris Black was able to put down 305 whp and 307 wtq @ 24.79 PSI. I have a two step at 5,800 along with a bumped redline at 7,200.

106 seems about right for the power you were making. What was your 60' time? I'm sure it was around 2 seconds since you didn't use the 2 step.

When you post up your times it helps if you show the slip or at least post the details of it so we can see your 60' mph etc to get a good idea of the run, what were you launching at?

I believe my 0-60 ft was 2.1 or 2.2 - I didn't want to fully launch the car on the stock clutch. Didn't want to have to flat bed it home even though my 8 only has 32k miles. Oh! And I'm signed up for a track event at grattan race way in Michigan on august 2nd! New brakes here I come ! ))

Not bad, there is a 12 sec pass in that thing easy. What clutch do you have? It would be hard pressed to blow something up with that little of power.

Good luck next time.
