I'm just wondering if there's a big difference in trap speed when doing a good launch vs. no launch, at all on the EVO. I'm planning to hit a 1/4 mile track soon, but don't want to beat up my car from high rpm launching. I just want to get an idea on how my car's running top-end wise.

IS2000 pm me. I have a Gtech pro if you want to see what kind of power your Evo has w/o a hard launch and w/o going to the track. I remember that you have the P2 and i would be interested to see how your Evo compares to my stock Evo and my friends with the P2,exhale,and throttle body. Supposedly trap speed on the Gtech is -3 mph. I live in your area so hooking up isn't a problem. My friend with a Lightning is currently using it but i should have it back soon.

 

Ur trapspeed wont change if u launch hard or not. The ET will just be slower. My cousin has an EVO and he started slowly and got 101mph with 15.0 ET and when he launched hard he got 13.4 at 101mph. Good luck.
