I don't know. All I can say is what I went thru. Just call QM and ask to clear all doubt. I do hate the noises this clutch makes and probably be changing soon.

JUST got off the phone with QM. The only difference between the two versions is the flywheels. The race version comes with a lighter flywheel. that's it. no difference in disks, or pressure plate

So the people who have the race disks with street flywheel really just have the street version. Wow, that settles that. I'd like to get the street clutch when mine goes out.

well supposedly someone else spoke with QM and were told that the street disc were different...so apparently QM is giving out mixed answers which makes this decision so much more confusing and frustrating.

so I called again and the person I spoke with this time confirmed there are two different part numbers for the street and race disc. So apparently not everyone at QM knows their products specifications to the fullest

So, in that case the race disks with the street flywheel seems like the ideal setup for a high hp daily driver. For the people who are tired of Exedy's BS clutch design, the qm appears to be another great choice.

people still having issues with the exedy's? I haven't heard any more complaints in a while, almost sounds like a short run of an inferior bad design.

I've been getting a lot of PM's about this lately.

I did end up going with the street version. It drives pretty good once you figure how to make it happy.
