fastest 1/4 mile

Fastest times I have seen were probably low 17's (not stock ofcourse). Heheh good luck with getting you're car to run 15's bro ... let me know when you start running those times because I'm gonna have a when you do.

Get an Evo. Less trouble getting there.
Or rebuild your whole engine, get a turbo, run 16psi of boost, get nitrous, strip your car, get drag slicks, and get good luck.
I may be exaggerating a little, but you would seriously have to do A LOT of things to your car to run 15sec. 1/4.
What do you plan on doing to your car?

id take a 15.9 ....i think i heard somewhere that someone said they ran a 16 something so that isnt that far off, i dont think you would need all that **** to get there, my plan is to get exhaust, CAI, throttle body, test pipe, headers, and a fuel management thing and if thats not enough thats when the lil spray of nitrous will come in

All I have is an intake, so I have no idea what kind of numbers you could get with the things you mentioned. I am very interested to see exactly what it takes to get into the 15s. Good luck on getting there.

Let me tell you, cai, exhaust, test pipe and headers wont get u anywhere close to 15 sorry man. In order to get close to 15 u need to do some serious work. Better breathing (ie intake, headers, throttle, exhaust ect..), some serious camshaft and fuel system work, and most likely a turbo. In other words LOTS OF MONEY

I saw a guy post up mid 16s.
2 point 0... I love it when people tell people that they should have waited for the Evo... let me pull that extra 16K out of my "back pocket" so I can wait for something that's not even the shadow of the true Evo.
I will say this YET again for benefit of everyone. The Lancer IS NOT a quarter mile car. Neither are Civics unless they are exhaustively tuned, in case none of you noticed. You want to race this car? Intake, exhaust, suspension mods, and start looking for autocross events.

I must agree. The OZ is not designed for the QM, however, my intentions were to build it up.
You nailed it about the 16k, WTF? I personally have a budget and like my low payments. However, I do have the intention of putting 6-7k (performance mods only) in it and that leaves me an extra 10k or so for the gas and tires I'm going to burn up....
Personally, I rather like the thought of long drawn out races like autocross. The QM is, well, a littler short, yet fun

What do you guys think I would run in the 1/4 Mile. Im curious too see what you think the lancer is capable of. Probably gonna run it soon once I get everything dialed in perfect and it's dyno'd.

Wow, I am really disappointed. Know I understand that the Lancer really isn't a 1/4 mile car but more of a "Rally" car but wow. I really hate to say this buy my 97 DOHC Neon stock runs 15.7 and that is with a ATX! The only thing I have are better gripping tires. Now my question is where is all the power going? I know the US Lancers have the same engine that the 2nd generation Neons have and the base model runs mid 16's stock. If I remeber right the R/T's run low 16's. No really where did the power go? I haven't checked but is the Lancer heaver? That could do it.

No I mean the 2000 and up Neons have the same 16V 2.0. That is what I have been told. And no the Eclipse RS does not have the same engine as the 1st generation Neons, common miss conception. For starters the transmission is on the right side of Neons, left side of Eclipes. A few of the parts are interchangeable but not everything.
