As the title says, im very curious to find out what kind of times people are running with true stock evo8's. Not stock appearing. Stock block, head and turbo. I have been a dsm guy for years and just bought my first evo roughly 1 year ago and have left it pretty much stock for now. I just would like of idea of what kind of times have been done with this setup.

His was not stock long block. Had cams. Canmexican ran 10.5 with stock long block.

My big question is, we're any of these runs on Evo 8 turbos ??? It seems like every fast pass I've seen the car has been changed over to a 9 turbo. I ran a 12.53 with a ton of issues, bad tires, clutch drag, and no seat time in the Evo . I think the stock setup has a high 11 in it with just the minor bolt on's I have. The reason I started this thread is because I've heard a lot of people say they have gone in the 10's with a stock car just a few bolt on's , yet every thread seems to have confrontation when it comes down to was the car stock.

Running 10's with a few bolt ons Is near impossible. Have you considered gutting the car?

No, not at all.... This is not my main drag project. I bought it for something to drive on the weekends and once and awhile to work . I did take it to the track and it may go back a few more times but that's it.

Tyler's evo holds the records in our signature.

Not with a stock full longblock. It had cams and a built short block.

Thanks for the info guys.... I have looked all over and it looks like with a stock long block/turbo setup the mid 11's seem to be the number to shoot for.
