Kristin's Daily Driven Evo 9 "Demonette" goes 9.25 @ 156 - Boostin Performance
The Demonette is rockin and rollin! Last year Kristin's Evo was on a stock turbo/stock motor setup running 10.7 @ 126mph. Just about 3 weeks ago we started the build on the car instaling a Boostin Performance High Compression 2.0 along with an ETS T4 twin scroll 6766 turbo kit.
We went to the track for the first time on 26" tall tire. The 4.11/Evo 9 1st/26" tall tire made for a really long 1st gear, and made it hard to launch. We would either bog or have to roll the car out a bit which made the 60 ft's suffer. Our best 60 ft on the 26" tire was a 1.61, and I was not happy. We changed to a 24.5" tall tire and that helped out a great deal. Our best 60 ft is 1.44 on the 24.5" tire, and first gear is much more manageable. The car is an animal in first gear now!
This car is still daily driven along with full interior, whether rain or shine! For all of these passes the car was set up in street trim. We didn't remove anything for this pass and still had the full interior, passenger seat, sub in the trunk, sunroof, power everything, and nearly a full tank of E85.
This car is nearly full weight minus:
-No Spare tire
-AMS rear mustache bar delete
-Boostin Performance 3" Aluminum Exhaust
-Small battery
-No A/C

Thanks everyone. Looking to head to the track hopefully this weekend, as long as the weather holds up.
I know with the 26" tires it was around 65 mph @ 9000.
Yes its a AEM EBCS, Devin uses the boost by speed option in the AEM EMS so we can keep boost down in 1st gear.
