Well I took my car to the track for the first time with this setup and first time using QTP's. With some more seat time i think 9's are possible with that mph. Theses passes were done on 35 PSI. I plan on running a little more boost later on this year also! I also drove it 1 hour to the track and 1 hour back full weight ect! Overall very happy with the car!

Here is a little video i put together, enjoy!

Not bad for the first test run. Should have a lot more in it with more boost.

Yea man for sure! Scott looked at my video, he noticed I was rolling about 6-8 inch before it really squatting. I think I was slipping the cluch to hard off the start. I need to release it quicker next time out!

Get that 1->2 down to keep the turbo happy and like you mentioned don't ride the clutch so hard. Preload and pull the clutch out almost as quick as dumping it when you're ready. Between preloading the drivetrain, your sprung cluch discs and really soft sidewalls (slicks), you shouldn't have an issue.

Good running car. The 4.11 and 26" tire might be hurting your ET's. But either way with a better 60' and clean gear changes your ET will drop!

Keep at it

Yea with theses slick it changed my RPM to MPH big time. On street tires 140 mph is 8k on the dot. I was doing 145 "before letting off" and my log was at 7.8k pretty crazy how it changed that much. I think the gearing is a little to long also with the QTP's but for the street the gears is gear for the cars I race.

Yeah when I was on the 4.11 and a 26" street tire I could hit 185 mph or so in 4th on the street. Great for street races as most races would never go faster than that. No need for 5th gear lol.

That's nuts, im on a 2.4L I don't ever wanna run it past 8.5k ever so im assuming your shifting at like 9-9.5k?

I really like keeping it under 8k being that im on a 2.4L

You definitely have a 9 second pass in it with that mph. I went 9.9@139mph and 9.7@143mph. Get that 60ft down along with banging the 1-2 shift like your life depends on it and it's definitely there.

The good thing is, every 60ft i was slowly getting better. I need to release the clutch a little quicker. That last pass on camera the boost was up 1.5 psi from my 143.86 mph pass. I think it would of been a 145 + pass i wish i didn't miss 4th.

Overall I'm pretty happy for the first time out on QTP's and this setup. I drove it 1 hour there and 1 hour back. Plus its a legit full weight Evo. 3340 lbs with me in it pretty heavy car plus the wing "idk if having the wing really handicaps you but it might going 140+." If i dropped it to 2,900-3,100 with me in it would be a high 140 car maybe 150.

152mph trap @ 700whp weighing the same as me.. something isn't adding up there, its a 10mph trap different. That's at least a 100whp difference if same weight.
