I had plans to change the turbo kit during the middle of the season so I wanted to make sure I changed the fuel system in order to support a big turbo.

The car I think could've went 8.5 on the 99, maybe a little quicker who knows, but I want to get a big turbo on the car. I was running my T3 setup with the same manifold for 4 years so it was time lol.

Should be a lot of fun!
Just for references sake - were either of those results on "kill" with the Super99? Still not really clear on what they are capable of power wise, been wondering about how much of a restriction that T3 hotside/small turbine (for a 72mm compressor) it is. If 920whp/168mph is the limit then it puts things into perspective.

I made the 920whp on the Mustang Dyno late last year when I first got the 99 on the car. That was on E70, old fuel system, and on my old AMS F1-I Intake Manifold. The car was not set on "kill" for the dyno or at the track. I planned to go back out with it, but the way timing was I just decided to take it off and put a whole new turbo kit on the car. As I said in the post above, I've had the same T3 setup with the same manifold for 4 years. It was time for a change. The T3 hotside is a little restriction for a 72mm compressor. The car was not set on kill for the dyno and when I ran 8.6 @ 168mph. I believe the car could've gone a decent amount quicker, I just wanted to switch things up.

Sweet - cheers, yeah definitely wasn't questioning the change up... it was clear you wanted thing to go to another level that the Super 99 wasn't going to be up for, and it makes sense with the point you are at with the whole thing - I was just trying to determine if 920whp on Boostin's Mustang should be treated as a line in the sand for what they're capable of or not, seems like a pretty confident no. Thanks for that

I wouldn't judge my 920whp on the Mustang Dyno the final line of the potential of the Super 99. That's what the car made and we went to the track with it. I never max my cars out on the dyno. I always try to make some solid numbers and head to the 1320. We can always turn the power up there.

48psi. I was pretty much out of fuel and couldn't turn it up anymore. Now I have a whole new fuel system that I wont have any problems with not having enough fuel.
