i dont understand??...why are you putting evo 8-9 parts in your car?? just to save weight? theres a lot of power stuff that could be done before you maxed your stock turbo.....

I'm putting an evo 9 rear diff in the car because it doesn't explode with hard launches period. There's no other reason at all. With the AYC and the ACD crap going on it tries to correct itself way too much and it's useless for what I want to do with the car. As far as being maxed out on the stock turbo we're pretty damn close. The only thing I haven't done is an o2 dump downpipe. 380 hp and 393 torque on that dyno is well over 400 on everyone else's and I'd strap the car down on anybody else's dyno just to prove my point. That X turbo is screaming for dear life every pass lol

youll save probably another 50++kg by doing the swap!! might help a bit for the quarter mile time .....for whats about the power....im not having the same thoughts that you have....even on stock turbo....even if it CANT shoot more air.....timing could be more advance with parts that would make the air less restrictive.....cams,ported head, exhaust manifold, throttle body etc etc.....my thoughts......of course gains would be less than on a bigger turbo!!! we will see :-p

Do you explode the stock evo X diff? Or you just fear about it?
Very impressive lanches by the way...

Ofcourse very impresive times too!!

What boost are you running??

It was so necessary to change your intercooler?
I was thinking that was better just to change some pipes if they have bad design and spend the money to cams or just to keep the money

The read diff is hurt. I put the deer scene in for the gear whine, not the deer, but no one picked up on that.

And yes the intercooler is necessary with how much hot air the turbo generates.

It should be back up and running here in the next week or 2. Got notice that the driveshaft shop axles for the conversion shipped and we're throwing on the STM o2 dump downpipe. Hoping for over 400/400 now. Maybe get some more weight out and shoot for 10's!

Me and my friend were talking about this last night. Are you just running a mbc? I heard it is bad to run a mbc on the x's.

Yes, We run Hallman pro MBC's on every single car we have built. From 12 second stockish Evo's to 8 second monsters. All of them have had a MBC.

Straight from the man himself. There's a hallman MBC on my car, as a matter of fact there has been on 2 of my X's and there always will be. Car runs great and I have no issues at all from using it. It's a simple and perfect solution in my opinion. Hopefully we can get the o2 dump downpipe going for my car here and Emery can retune it and we can get that 10 second pass with the stock turbo
