Did you ever dyno your car? whats kind of hp are you making on a dyno? the trap speed seems a little low for the mods you have.

That is a great 60ft time. What kind of gas were you running? Did you have tons of extra weight in the car?

Seems about right. I've seen Evos with almost as many mods run 13.3 in hot weather.
(no dynoflash)

What were track conditions??? Here's a calculator to mod it: http://www.modulardepot.com/density.php

I have a P2 flash and ran 13.514 w/no better than a 1.88 60'. This calculater took me to a 15.2 (I think) based on track conditions in hot, muggy midwest...

Haven't dyno'd the car yet..Was running a mix of 93/100 about half n half..Car had no spare and no extra weight..It was a cool night, even with a t-shirt and jeans on I was pretty cold...Everything was in the cards for me, just a slow Evo for what I've got I think..

Personally, I think you need to shift faster/drive faster. With that 60 ft and MPH you should be in the 12's. You are losing precious tenths between shifts. If you want to run fast, you have to dedicate yourself and not only your car.

Actually I am starting to get confused also (I'm quite sure all cars have these problems when modifying). I see some guys with just intake, exhaust, and a re-flash and run low to mid 12s with trap speeds 108MPH+ and then some guys have a lot more and run eihter the same times or slower times. What gives, is it the quality of tunes, is the dynoflash not as good as they say it is, when a guy with basically the same mods but with a Turbo Trix re-flash runs a 12.6@111MPH?

For his level of mods 13.1 at 105mph is alright. Only power adders are MBC,Exhaust, maybe intake, and Dynoflush. With a great run high 12s potential. 60ft better than my avg. Everybody thinks that bolt-ons with a simple flash is going to make their car a rocket. Your car went from a 13.5-8 sec car to 13.1 and that is good. Let an experienced racer drag it and maybe 12s much like the Tur trix Evo with bolt-ons.

My car stock was running low 14's and I am now running low 12's. You have to take YOUR CAR'S (and drivers) gain and see how good it is.... not take your car when modified running low 13's and compare it to a factory freak car that was able to pull a 12.9 stock. The amount YOU gain over stock is all that maters. This is why I always do a stock baseline run on a car before I start modifying it, and it drives me nuts when someone who DIDN'T do a baseline run or two *****es about their car being slower than it should be after they do some mods.

Keith

PS: My car went from 14.148 @ 96.17 stock to 12.511 @ 110.56 on pump gas full weight with the spare tire and all. Gaining 1.637 seconds and 14.39 mph is pretty damn good in my book. My objective is to run the same trap speed in the 1/8 mile modified on pump gas that I used to run in the 1/4 mile when stock... ie: my goal is to run 96 mph 1/8 mile trap speeds. I have to gain 8 more mph in the 1/8 before I am truely happy

Fourdoor, I agree with you and 12.5 on pump is good stuff. Is 94 oct your pump. Out here 91 oct will likely keep me in the 12.7-8 range on pump. Never tried it as I am a race gas junkie.

I agree with you and sympothize about the pathetic pump gas they screw you guys with out in CA. I was just explaining in another thread how much gas quality makes a difference in dyno numbers and track times. How much does that 91 octane pump pee cost out there? If it cost over $2.50 a gallon for 91 I would probably run strait race gas in my car all the time.

To reach my goals of 96 mph 1/8 mile traps (as stated in my last "PS") I figure I will need an upgraded turbo and posiblly a 2.4 liter swap. 96 mph 1/8 mile traps are reached when you are running mid 11's at 120+ in the 1/4 and I plan to do this (someday) on 94 octane pump gas
