Ran best time ever....... and still lost
Well this interesting.........
a few of you have heard my whining about how slow my lancer is ( the "who is running 16's" thread ) and i went back to the track after getting rained out last week.
I was having trouble hooking up and i didn't run quicker than a 17.22 - well i dial in at a 17.25 and guess what........ i ripped off a 16.87 @ 81 mph. That made me a first round loser.
To add insult to injury - i messed up the shift to 3rd gear, so i'm thinking there was potential for a 70 or a 60 there. I think i finally figured out how to launch this car and it likes it.
rt. 253 / 60 foot 2.39 / 330 foot 6.85 / half track 10.74 - 62.4 / 1000 foot 14.08 / et 16.875 - mph 81.19
I stand corrected and with a few more upgrades i should be in the mid to low 16's...... i'll stop whining now
