Mod Combos to hit low 12's to 11's......let's see the common add-ons
Everyone, please join in and list your mods that allowed you to hit low 12's to 11's. Want to see what the most proven and common combos you guys are using. List complete list of mods, 1/4 mile times with trap speed if you have them. If it's tuned, list your tuned specs if you know them. Gracias. {thumbup}

just referencing his cam idea. and although you said lower ib pipe, i figure you meant Lower Inter Cooler Pipe, so yes. i rather get a header and 02 housing then cams b/c i could not install cams myself, thus I couldn't take them out if i went to the dealer. they are similar in whp increases, but cams would be better for 1/4 times as they will add more top end where you need it when dragging. i don't know if your dealer would void for a header and 02, but i am pretty positive he would for cams. plus i wouldn't even know where to begin trying to tune for cams let alone cam gears and probably shouldn't with an safc anyways. + a header($200-$350) & 02($100) is cheaper, especially if you want gears $250 and studs $100 with cams $500(GSC) plus install $200(cheap) and tuning $???. but cams can get you some great gains, they throw you back in your seat big time. |

I'm thinking at least 320awhp-340awhp.....a friend of mine (EVOTEXAS) hit 12.01 on race gas and 360awhp with GSC 272/264 cams, HKS cam gears, i, tbe and a TT flash.
