Finally broke 13's :)
 

Went to Gateway International Raceway, last night for some test and tune.

1st run, I got a 13.071 not happy with that but butter than I did stock lol.

But once I got a 12.9 they just kept getting lower.
Best run of the night was

I know I can go faster, cause at the end of the night the two fastest competitors go head to head in their division. I was in the sport tuner one.

In the final race I pulled a 1.8 60' and was ahead of my previous time, but missed fourth and let off for a second and still managed a 12.9 at 106.

Now get tuned and you're off to the races!

Congrats, didn't get my car up and running in time to make it out. I was hoping to make it into the low 13 high 12 with my mods i just put on. I will be there next tuesday though, but i still have to pick up a helmet! One of my friends was there with his GTO...says he ran mid 12's. Bah....

Good job Ross! I might be back up next week and hopefully we can go to Gateway this time.

I have two helmets if you need to borrow one. Granted my spare is a DOT approved. They rarely look at them. Or just say you've never ran it and dont expect much, and just wear the other helmet. They'll never check it as long as you have it.

Got a helmet and totally going Tuesday. I might not be there till slightly after 6 though (work). I'll look for the black evo! Always nice to have some evos there to offset all the American muscle and honda guys.

That's one thing I love about 1/8th mile tracks. Not nearly as many regulations.

thanks bro. I know I could manage a 12.6 or lower right now. Would have if I didn't get to excited and miss 4th gear lol.


Now my money payments are going to fix my front bumper. Cause a lady cut infront of me today, and I swerved and hit a median and scratched up my bumper and ripped the front lip off. :crap:

Bummer man, my front lip is trashed too. I took it off and my evo just doesn't look the same! Still working on a replacement. For now it will just have to look a little bad to look great later!

sh*t happens. But now i'm hoping my car will be fixed by Tuesday. Went on a huge River Road cruise today. And now I no longer have break pads in the rear. So I gotta get my rotors re-surfaced, and get new pads lol.
