TTP Engineering's turbo8 Dyno Drag video!

TTP's head mechanic Ryan Chung spent this afternoon getting his car optimized on both pumpgas and new racefuel we are testing.

We spent a little time getting the car dialed in on the Mustang Dyno AWD.

The results were 352/350 on pumpgas 93 octane with an 11.7 @ 113.5mph.
26psi tapering to 20psi.

Then onto the racefuel with a 386/390tq, netting an 11.32 @ 117.46mph.
32psi tapering to 22psi.

We took a quick video of the first pass on the racefuel we are testing.

Will you take the car to the track and see if you can duplicate those results? Track conditions can be very different than the dyno. What was the 60ft on the screen?

The car was a little lighter on the drag strip runs.

The Mustang Dyno takes into account an aerodynamic downforce number as well as vehicle weight with driver.

For this testing 15.8 and 3480lbs was used for the eddy current load brake for proper loading on the driveline.

A vehicle lighter than 3480lbs as input into the computer would have a higher trap speed and/or improved E.T. as the dyno would put additional braking on the rollers if the actual weight was lower than the inputted weight figure.

Ok, who cares what their dyno says.

the cars are running low 11's on stock turbo and none of their cars have been breaking down.

ttp must be doing sumthing right , because no other shop is putting that many people in 11.5 and lower territory on the stock turbo.

Kickass!! I can't wait to launch mine on it!!

Questions:

1. Who drove?

2. When does one on the dyno know the 1/4 is up to let off ? I didn't see any visual lights or confirmations to indicate when the driver has completed the course.

I guess my thought is - at the track, you can see the finish line... can you see it on a screen or something? I wanna know where the end is so I know where my target is :)
