Going to the track tomorrow, hoping to beat some PR's
 

The best ive ever run in my car is 11.5 @ 124.7mph spinning bad off the line. That was at 3300lbs. Well i took out my rear seats, passenger seats, and floormats(yeah they dont do much, but no sense having them there.lol)

Im shooting for a low low 11. Its my schools track day (UTI) and my last time at the track for this season so lets see what i can do. No roll cage, but i dont care if i get kicked off for the day, or told to turn the boost down.

Id be so happy with anything faster than 11.5
my car will run consistant 11.5's and 11.6's with alot of wheel spin.

How are you spinning off the line? I was running low 11's on stock tires with no problems, and this was coming off the line at 5700RPM's. I may have walked it sideways once or twice but thats about it. I have never spun out of the hole. BTW how is UTI I was thinking about going just for something to do. I was gonna take a year or so off from work to go to school, not that I want to be a mechanic but I like working on my own car. Is this geared towards working in a dealership alot? What are your thoughts?? Anyways good luck.

I spin badddd and usually kick out sideways a little. Launching at 6100
Its really geared towards dealership work. first phase for everyone is basic engine, which was boring for me. Now im in advanced electrical. Im just waiting for power and performance

What kinda of tires? Maybe you should try launching at a slighty lower RPM.. Thanks for the info.

ugh uti.. lol finished it last summer. Their track day is a waste of time. You get like 3 runs in the whole day. For sure Mr. Lyons will be there with his vette.

Thats wierd before my 2 step was installed i was launching at 4500 with no problems. Are you on a stock clutch?

This is at NED right? Its a crap track at sea level. I would spin till half track on my old set up and I was only trapping 120mph.
