What's the stock ECU and MAF record?
I have been trying the search but it only seems to be giving posts pre 2004. What is the quarter mile record for an Evo using a stock ECU (reflashed) with a stock MAF and without a stock MAF if the records are different?
I know Mellon has run around 10.3 or something but I don't know if that is the record. |

Mellon ran a 10.45 I believe. To the best of my knowledge I hold the record at 10.301.

Cool. Was this with a stock MAF?

There was a reason why I had asked this question. I tuned a car that I believed could probably beat the stock ECU record so I wanted to be sure what the record was.
We went to the track last weekend and ran 10.263@133.14 mph, 1.534 60'. That should make it the quickest Evo 8 ECU/MAF time. There is a catch though - this car is an Evo 3 running an 8 ECU and wire harness. It's a full race car and is very light. It only took 576hp on a dynojet to achieve this time. When I get a chance I will post the time slip. That was the first timed run. The second run it wheel hopped badly of the line and the driver Damian Allen, had to back off. It ran 10.7 that time. After that we ended up having fuel pump problems and didn't get another. We are looking for a 9 second pass next time out. |
Anibal in Puerto Rico ran 9s with stock Ecu/MAF I believe.
