He has a complete Buschur Stage 3 with alcohol kit

I was tuning him today and run number 5 was the peak with the MBC turned down all the way to its bottom

I was at Buschur Racing a few weeks ago and observed David Buschur applying a few choice wacks with a hammer to a BR stage car with the 1 G BOV to get it to hold more boost

I had to try it myself so i took out my favorite hammer and 3 wacks later we gained a **** load of power !!!!!!!!!!

3 wacks is great but if you go 4 and crush the nipple into or onto the top of the diaphram it will hold booost great but you can run into surging problems. I went the whole route of about 50 drag passes only to figure out the Type-s with only the SMALL spring turned in about 5 turns will get you a 11 second pass on the stock turbo (2 tenths and and 2mph better than a crushed 1g) on a MAIL-IN Flash and a Stage 4 car.

PS: your custom tune still rocks Al! Looking to get an 11.50 with it next week.

Nice! Those were the TQ numbers I was hoping for with my alky kit and BRS4.

 

The car has really taken on a new personality, the methanol really makes the middle of the powerband especially strong. Al- Thanks for the great tune. I dialed the boost back a bit (an indicated 25 on the defi) and the thrust is still there. I took a ride on some of my favorite twisties this morning and was having power on traction issues in the slower corners. I guess it might be time to upgrade my meats, or an lsd.
