Your first pass looked like you came off the line pretty hard, I could easily imagine one of the fronts coming up a bit.. My camera battery dies today so no pics, but I'll be sure to snap some tommorow. The car definitely makes some serious power..
I had a decent day as far as my times go but the guy racing next to me kicked up a rock and scratched my roof.. Ran a 12.25@110.9, Exhaust and mail in tune ONLY!!!
Good luck and I'll see you tommorow.

Second pass killed when I ran out of gas (idiot) mid pass

Third pass shows some promise, sadly my seat slider did not enjoy the application of 900 plus whp against my fat 300 plus lbs and when I took off in 1st the seat let loose and threw me into the roll bar cross brace - about 6 inches back - enough to pull my right foot off the gas

I was so crazed that I just slid up and contined with the pass

I was glad that I laid into it as I never before felt that kind of power

148.50 mph in the 1/4 at 10.4

I am quailified for the Q16 first round tomorrow and I am now going to bolt the seat slider so the thing can pop loose on me again

Looks like another long night as I remove the seat, drill it and bolt the slider - all in the Wawa parking lot

Desperate times require desperate measures

Wish I had better news to report but at least I am still in the race and did not break anything (yet)

PS - big problem I haved now from a technical aspect is that the front end lifts up and the pass side front tire leaves contact with the ground when I launch it. I have not hnad this problem before so I have to so some thinking on how to correct it

You should talk to John Shepard and see how he keeps the front end of his 7.976@179.06MPH! Monster on the ground!! You may actually have the need for some wheelie bars.

Al,

Do you still have adjustable coil-overs on her? If so do the opposite of what you do for shock settings on a two wheel drive drag car. For yours add as much rear compression dampening as you can and a add as much front rebound dampening as you can. It should help with stopping the weight transfer to the rear some. Other thing you can do is put more corner weight on the left rear and right front, that will help with keeping the unweighted (when you launch) tires planted.

Or ask Buschur cuz I am just and old school dragracer

Al,

If you want some good pictures of your car, shoot me a PM before the Sub vs Mits shootout next month. It's a hobby and I am trying to get some good pics of cars from various different events. If you want any nice action shots, let me know and I will try and pay extra attention when I am there. No charge, either... I do it for fun.
