UTEC user Dyno Flash - $79.99 - flash for UTEC users

Hey guys

I am going to be tuning the UTEC by Turboxs as part of the services I offer in the future

This means that on my custom tuning trips, I will be able to custom tune your Evo If you have a UTEC with your UTEC - for those that prefer that route - I will post pricing info after I have played with it a couple of more weeks

In the meantime - I am now offering a custom Dyno Flash reflash designed just for those installing the UTEC to work as an improved starting point and offer some extra features

I am calling this the U Flash !

Benefits and features of the U Flash include :

1 - A/f table optimized to match your type of intake (eg Buschur, HKS, etc) so you can run it out of the box and be very close to a 11.1/1 a/f ration with miminal tuning - less dyno time - less tuning time ! Then all you do is fine tune the a/f curve to your desired number with the UTEC.

2 - Removal of fuel cut (TX's is planning later softwear changes to add this feature later - but not right now) This way you can really crank up the boost on your cam equiped evo without hitting the dreaded fuel cut

3 - Rev limit change to 7800 or any rev limit you choose (TX's is planning later softwear changes to add this feature later - but not right now)

4 - Top speed limiter removal

All for $79.99 !!!!

The way it works - you send me your ecu and let me know your intake and other mods - I will install the UTEC flash

In comming weeks - when i go out on the road and do custom tuning - we are going to be able to install this UTEC version Dyno Flash and then fine tune your UTEC for you all in one shot at a great price

Also - if you live in the NY area - we will be tuning the UTEC right on the Pruven dyno 6 days a week anytim you want call for an appointment

While the Dyno Flash is going to get you the same whp and results as the UTEC - the UTEC offers you the ability to make lots of changes when ever you want and its a great product - thats why we are going to tune it and offer this base Dyno Flash for people who go that route - and also offer custom tuning for it for those who like the system but want it tuned by someone with lots of Evo tuning experience

Will I have problem doing smog check with U-Flash? Do I have to get my ECU to reflash back to stock by you before going to smog check?

No effect on emissions testing what so ever - we don;t touch the idle and closed loop operation

Where should everyone be buying their UTEC's from Al....

BTW, If you order your UTEC from me I will include Als flash with the UTEC, Thats how important I feel these "extras" are to maximize the cars performance.

AL...how are you doing on this item? I am down to the XEDE (sorry) and the UTEC as a piggy back. I'm right now leaning more twords the UTEC then the XEDE....but who knows...I change my mind every second.

What I would really like to know is in the near future...will you be able to do maps through the mail/e-mail/internet site for the UTEC depending on mods on the car? That would be friggin awesome!!!

Please let me know...I'm probably going to make a move on this situation within the next week. If I do get the UTEC...can you do a UFlash at AMS when your there?

You can do the Uflash anytime - at AMS of before

Personally - there is no choice between the piggy back units out there the UTEC is by far the best choice IMHO

While, I would argue that you can get the same exact power and results with a refash at a fraction of the cost - - there are those who need the adjustment and changing functions and fore them the UTEC is ideal

I know my own perfernce is the UTEC as I like to tune often and make changes weekly

Personally - i would choose a custom Dyno Flash as the base for pump gas and have it professionaly set and tuned for perfect operation - - then I would use the Utec to tune over it to set for race gas or any mods made - just my 2 cents

Hummmm....you make a good point...but my problem is I buy and sell stuff and make changes to my car as a constant. I never know what I am going to have on as a permanent thing.

If I read what you wrote correctly...I can have you flash me at AMS according to my mods...and use that as my base map....then use the UTEC to change things slightly and have the extra control...correct?

I just sold off my S-AFC II to prepare for the flash...but now wonder if I did the right thing.

What about my through the mail maps question for the UTEC, do you know yet if you would be able to do that???

Thanks AL
