$1500 Cash Prize - 1st Dyno Flashed Evo to run 10's
 

I am offering a $1500.00 cash prize to the first Dyno Flashed Evo to run a 10 second 1/4 mile time

We already have Evo Dave running 11.50 with a pump gas tune so we may be close to this goal!

There are lots of Dyno Flashed guys now running 11's - I think 10 of them. From the best of my info (correct me if I am wrong) there are no other tuner's reflashed customers have run 11's yet.

Here are the rules :

You must Video tape the run

The video must show the stock ecu in the car

The run must be done on a real 1/4 mile drag strip and you must show the time from the timing lights in the video - you must also supply an original time slip which number matches the number on your car in the video.

The run must be done in a 2003 - 2004 or 2005 Evo 8 with a Dyno Flash in the car

Through the mail tunes and custom tunes are eligiable

Nitrous, aftermarket turbos, or anything else is OK - run what ever you want - just go 10.999 or better with my flash !

You may use a piggy back such as SAFC II - or Emanage to fine tune your flash

Wow! It's so tempting to dump some big $$$ on a big turbo/nitrous setup to go for that prize. Damn it Al! You're making me spend too much $$$ on my car.

Al, have you tried to get in the 10's with your own car and Dynoflash?

Seems like Al ran a 11.22 or something close on the HKS turbo set-up and a DynoFlash, but I could be pullling those numbers out my a@@...think that is close though.

He ran a 10.9 on nitrous. 11.6 without nitrous.

nah....he had to have ran faster than me without nitrous with just the flash....

Actually - the fastest I went with just a flash in the car was about 11.62 - that was a long time ago

I have been dreaming up some ideas lately to try some stuff to set some records

1 - Fastest on stock turbo

2 - Fastest with a reflash

Obviously - I am trying to get back to being the fastest without NOS - thats my main goal.

Right now - I am the fastest without NOS on radial tires.

Well....i want the prize here...so i was curious Al is there anything that you can do for me for that other ecu that i could try via mail or something....my concern is that if i wait till the 6th of November for chicago all the tracks will be closed around here......or would i be just better off tossing on a intake manifold and trying to get the a/f's richer than my 11.5 run but within range with the new intake manifold? PM me with your opinion on what i should do...or just post here
