That's exactly how I plan to use the switchable maps. Thanks for consolidating the resources needed! Your the man. ...I'm also going to need to get a more local E85 pump here.

If there were E85 pumps available here, I'd skip the alky kit all together. I can't wait to see the map switching interpolation finally working.

I was thinking of using theTephra v5 to run one e85 map and then what would be cool is to have the flash cel on knock mod be able to trigger a switch from map a to map b instead of the cel light. Could Tephra wire code to do this?
this has lots of different possible applications.

regardless I am really happy that there will be a E85 within 3 miles from where I work

So you want it to switch maps when you get knock?

Don't forget, E85 is a FARR richer AFR than pump gas so if you plan on using E85, you'll be needing larger injectors if you dont have them already. Its roughly a 9.7:1 AFR for stoich and around 7:1 for WOT boosting (if memory serves me).

I'd recommend 1000cc's for 650 crank HP like you are shooting for....but thats for regular gas. Most HIGH HP guys running E85 probably use a secondary injector setup (4 additional injectors) for daily drivers so the idle is more controllable. You'll see people running high HP E85 cars with 600-750cc primary injectors and 1000-1200cc secondary injectors which only come on when boosting.

450 whp is probably a realistic upper limit for E85 without using secondary injectors and a dual fuel pump setup.
