NLTS possible with ECUFlash and stock ECU?
I was wondering if it is possible to get this working with a stock ecu and ecuflash? I had it on my DSM when I had it. If it is possible, what all needs to be done. I currently have an eflash from Jestr Tuning. I searched, but nothing really came up that had good answers.

NLTS = No lift to shift, When I Had my dsm and had dsmlink in it. I was able to have the stationary studder box, as normal. Which was based on speed. Then there was the NLTS which was when you were going or what not, you just keep your car floorer, when the clutch is pressed in the rpm's drop to a set parameter, like 6k rpms. The NLTS used a clutch cut wire that went to the ecu and clutch switch.
How do you have yours working dudical? Does it work as I described above?

doesn't the ECU have a two step rev limiter (one clutch in and one clutch out)? I don't remember if the parameter is changed based on the clutch switch or based on vehicle speed (stationary vs. moving), but if it's based on clutch sensor all you'd have to do is change the "clutch in" limit to what you want your NLTS rpm to be, and that should do it?
I don't have time but this is something I wanted to do. Maybe I'll get to it sometime in janurary or feb when I do have more time. I'm trying to build my eclipse for next year and that is taking all my free money and time. Basically just look at the code around the stock clutch in launch rpm. You basically have to rewrite some things using the opcode sheets for the evo processor. Its SH2 as I believe. What we did on DSM's is feed an extra input to the ecu for the clutch in rpm. So:
IF clutch in go to next line
IF RPM above value jump to next line
IF car moving jump to rev limiter code
Then the stock code for the rev limiter is then run until the engine speed drops below the valuey you set. Their are a few different ways to do it. Go to the DSMECU board on yahoo groups and search the archives for how the dsm's do it. I also posted how I do it on this board.

I'm sure eventually ECUFlash will have these capabilities and more, its just a matter of time.
I only pickup 1/10th at most when flat-shifting compared to full lift shifting. Most times with a no-lift shift I get false knock which reduce timing and actually slows me down more then if I would have lifted in the first place. So I don't do it anymore... just learn to shift faster.
I've always run my best times by without using any sort of NTLS... Launch control is really the only thing I've used consistently and I don't even set it much higher than what its set stock...
