More importantly, how many lbs of boost can I run safely on pump gas with 880's and a reflash?

dude,
I don't think the size injector is going to determine the max safe boost you can run unless you have an upgraded turbo. If the injectors are scaled properly you should not see any change in your milage and your duty cycles will go down, allowing more headroom for mods before running out of fueling.

The question is not how much boost you can run with x injector, it is do you have enough fueling to support the engines demands for fuel with whatever combination of mods you have.

^ +1 ^

Octane determines how much boost you can run, unless you want to just dump fuel into the cylinders to push more boost. That ruins gas mileage AND performance. Run a safe psi on pump gas and crank it up when running race gas. Pump is teh sUck.

I have 880s with 35r as well and run 22lbs of boost on 91 and 32 on c16. I used to have 780s but maxed them out at the track (according to evoscan) so upgraded.
