And Evo 9 JDM (which also has 8 way map switching and fuel map in RAM). Apart from on my car no one else was running it until today, so a bit of testing before being rolled out for release. It has been tested on another 9, and now the 8. This is important because the memory layout of the 7/8 is different to the 9.

 

My ecu ID is currenty 96420007. Can i simply write a 94170008 flash to it, bascially changing it to the 94170008 ecu ID?

 

BTW, the 96420007 is for an 04, and the 94170008 is for an 03.

No I do not think you can do that. The address are probably different. I have been trying like crazy to get it done on my own rom, reading for hrs. Really hard to find info or tutorials on stuff like this. I know how to convert hex to a number my main problem is what to do with the number lol and what does it mean.

 

No tutorials because it is the "cutting edge". My next step will be to release something for JDM 8 (non-MR) because an owner that has a 9 and has this working has a wife who has an 8! Also I want to get 94170008 upgraded to full map switching for Jack rather than just read/write commands.

 

I am hoping that we see this for the 88590015 usdm 9s also
