Which is the firts map to alter 1,2,3, etc?

Just logged my car using evo scan, I have installed the Forge WGA since my base flash and am getting some prety heavy knock in the high rpm area, up to 15 counts, i assume since i am holding more boost i need to back off the timing in that load area, also the knock appeared after switching to NM crap 90 octane fuel. Its at about 6400 rpm and 210 load where it starts, also in the 12 degree timing area, as soon as i figure out how ill post a log, last log was on AZ 91 and using mitsuloger had no more than 1 knock count anywhere.

since you got more boost, I would increase your fuel and leave the timing alone. add 0.4 to it and see if it goes away

Ill give it a try tommorow after work, I am going to invest in a wideband in a month or so. AL tuned the car to 11.2 on pump and no knock at all. On 100 octane it usually reads 11.8-12.0 but at the tailpipe.

So I am correct in assuming I start with the high octane #3 map first since it has the greatest values and the timing where knock is occuring coincides with the value in the rpm/load range for this map?

I've noticed that I run on the 3rd ignition map as well. I've heard that #1 is warm up, #2 is normal, and #3 is for safety, but that is definitely not the case with mine. I've been tuning both #2 and #3. Good luck fixing your knock.

thanks, its just a safety deal until I can get a complete retune, but going to add more parts first. I have zero knock counts until 6450 rpm then bam 12/13/15/etc, till it pulls timing, but definitely looks like the number three map. I am going to play with it tonight after work.
