The "physical" method for removing the rear O2, is just unplug it. However, you need to do the ROM modification for the rear O2 simulator and perhaps the rear O2 heater sim to avoid rear O2/rear O2 heater CEL.

Not sure which links you are refering to that don't work. The only ones that don't work are the JoT links for ecu pins and the evo 8 pin removal link. If those are the ones you need then I'm not sure what you can do. There must be info out there somewhere on how to remove evo 8 pins and where to find the pins themselves, or you can use this guys method

thanks,

ps, this mod is working great for me. thanks for all the hard work.

EDIT:
read the first post and figured it out

(18.0-8.0)/255*x + 8.0

For some reason after doing this ECU pin mod I have lost gas mileage - I used to get 17-18mpg and now I can barley get 15mpg! I am going to reverse everything tonight and hopefully my mileage recovers.

Just did my AEM UEGO wideband last night. Tapped into the rear o2 sensor connector rather than at the ECU. The correct color wire on the rear o2 sensor harness is white with silver on my EVO 9.

i have a 9 MR and tapped into the rear 02 sensor as well because I could not get an ecu pin. I have the correct MUT table 8409 value of and in the correct cell. It just logs 13-15 back and forth throughout the range. I logged with the guage at a constant 14.8 (car off, ignition in on position) and it does the same. Perhaps the white wire is not universally the same wire on all 9's. My option was that, or a red/yellow I think. I used the black wire as the ground. I tested with a voltmeter and got 2.3v at about 15 afr. What did I do wrong?

Ok, I tested the red/yellow wire and the blue wire and both gave me a static 10. So the white wire seems to have the right data, but it's just going in circles 13 14 15 and everywhere in between but no other numbers show. It does not correlate to the guage. Heeeeeelllppp. PleAse and thankyou Evo gods.

Any update on the final formula for a Zeitronix ZT-2 using the white wire. I already went through this whole thread and have no definitive answer. I have also been trying multiple formulas, some are way off/off by a point/or somewhat close. Thanks in advance!

I believe Jack of trades came up with a formula for the zeitronix analog signal but never posted it because he was using the digital signal? Don't quote me on that but if no one else replies you may be better of PMing him.

Just out of curiosity, how come you're not using the digital signal?

Whats the Digital Signal? I must have skipped over parts in this thread with digital signal. How do I set that up? Thanks

Take a look at your zeitronix ZT2 manual at the section describing what all of the wires are. Depending on what version you have:

- Older version: The purple wire is the digital signal and the white wire is the analog signal.

- Newer version: The white wire is the digital signal.

This is of course if my memory serves me right. Check your manual/instructions though.

If using the digital signal then everything is much easier and you should be able to set it up using Mr. Fred's instructions (Disregard the grounding portion of the instructions with the digital signal, your ZT2 should already be grounded). Good luck and if there are any questions, ask.
