I'm waiting on the 9055 V7 as well, I've gone back to V5.10 as my car ran like a bag of spanners around town on the 96532706 V7, WOT and cruise was fine, but start and idle was nasty.
I didn't use the 90550001 SD rom for long, as it doesn't work correctly on "most" evo 4/5/6's for some reason.

For the time being I am using a stock Evo 6 ecu again, however I will happily swap back to the E7 ecu when tephra has time to finish 90550001 V7 (unless the SD patch is done for the E5/6 ecu first )

sorry for the noob questions but my buddy wants me to help him pass emissions on his evo 9 and i saw that there is an option on the First page for the IX that says emissions ready to pass all systems under option 2 from Acamus i believe but i don't want to flash the other mods that come with it. Is there a bit i can just turn off for it to have all systems ready?

Question on 96530706:

I'm sure someone has an answer for this and I'm sure it's been covered.

Been using above rom a bit now and honestly driveability with it has improved considerably and just noticed I have no rev limits stationary or moving. Have been taking it easy on her until I do the timing components again here soon.

Is there a quick fix or is the answer switching to 94170715?

TIA Gurus

I also noticed that his internal ECU ID numbers are different in the tephra.bin file than on his stock map. i should make those values stock correct?

bump for some answers to my questions

leave the ID alone, it doesn't need changing you'll just have to set the immob code and there is a table with the tephra mods that you can select if they are on or off, they must be a good friend to allow you to mess with there car? If I were you i'd do a lot of reading first so that you understand the basics and look through the rom and make sure you know what the various tables are for before flashing his car, also make sure you take a copy of their original rom and make sure you put it some where SAFE so that you can always flash it back.

thanks for the ID and other tips. i've done a lot of reading and i'm very familiar with Ecuflash with the Evo Xs. I just havent messed with a lot of 8 or 9s so i'm not too familiar with the immobilizer side of things since we don't have to worry about that. I went the alternative way and just added the patches to a NON tephra mod .xml defenition file so he is ready to go for emissions and turned off rear o2 heater too

Is anyone using the AEM 5 bar with V7 specifically on SD? I know people are but I can't find the settings to save my life.

Any particular reason why you switched back?

There is a patched rom for the Evo 5/6 ecu now, which will give you anti-lag with launch control, map switching, cel on knock and hopefully soon SD.

The rom has custom code added into it.

Basicly it lets you add in fuel (user adjustable) and set the amount of ignition retard you want, for the launch.

It only works with launch control and at -5° I build just over 1bar of boost, however it does allow you to run -27° if you wish (I don't fancy running that much tbh).
