Official / Injector Scaling and Latency Forum
ahh yeah someone might want to add that if u have a JDM rom where the original ROM had 542 scaling for the stock injector you will need to increase the injector size. eg the FIC 1050s instead of 1008 need to be 1083. basically by two steps.
I.e.- Ethanol is 70% the weight of Gasoline and oddly enough requires 30% more fuel
everything i have read has shown bad experiences using those. Id think that with all of the knowledge we have here like JB and pals, we should be able to handle it. I havent given them a go yet.... im sure ill get to what i need to do. Just looking for a ballpark starting point
FIC2150/ID2000 work with the latency provided as is.
1650s I would be something like-
Scaling- 1350-1400
Latency-
11v- 1.11 to 1.28
14v- 0.83 to 0.94
No STFT, tune in open loop by the wideband, live with odd looking fuel map and some inconsistencies. Add the EZtune and it all needs redone off the high voltage part of the latency.
No easy answers when you start playing with the big stuff. Gasoline will be tougher, E85 makes it easier.

Thanks JB, after i saw you posted on this thread, i was about to send you a PM, but you answered everything I needed to ask. I as well as im sure everyone else truly appreciate your contributions to the community
love this thread.. now i got a quick question, anyone here would know what numbers i would run with if i have a 02 lancer oz 2.0 turboed, and i'm running a evo 8 ecu on it, i dont want to start the car yet till i get this fuel stuff figured out on this ecu.. i am runnig wrx 440 cc injectors, and a walboro 255 fuel pump. anything would help.. good work guys!

just got the logger working tonight looking at trims on my first e85 tune with fic 1050s scaled at 680 and low was -.05 and mid was -.29 I'm thinking this is about as close as I can get?
