Fic 2150 scaling helllllllllppppp!!!!

I used the scaling and latency that English racing posted. Didn't work for me. I tried changing everything! Higher lower ect. Can't figure it out. I'm about to use them as really exspensive eye droppers! Or launch them out of my potatoe gun! Any insight would help. Anybody running them on stock ecu and pump. Reason for pump is my breakin tune. Then switching to sd and e85. Thanks!

did you try the settings on the paperwork they send with every injector?
did you disable the resistor pack?
did you foul the plugs?

This was done before I got to the car. Will, what exactly isnt working right? Is it still on the MAF? Put the map on and put the sensor in, if it is on the MAF no reason to wait until its "broke in".

We were waiting for you to come out this way for the sd tune. It's on the stock maf and everything plugged in. Just running really rich. We tried higher scaling lower scaling. Very frustraiting. It was me Chad and Charlie. Put another resister box in and put some 780s in and ran fine. Don't understand? I guess that's why I make pizzas! Lol!

Do a boost leak test. I found out a seal tore when I put the injectors in the first time. It caused my FIC 1450's to not cooperate too well.

actually they arent that hard. john bradley (aaron) on here posted the latency/deadtime / (battery voltage) settings for them, and the rest is not very difficult to get the fuel trims good. For a huge injector, they are pretty user friendly from my experience. I made the mistake of dialing mine in and even tuning my a/f map and timing map to find out i forgot to pull resistor box and now need to start over again.

ran fine. the idle was choppy as far as a/f goes though, as soon as i removed the box my a/f was dead on not hunting no more. but everything needs rescaled now.

i had the injector scaling set to 1008 just to get the trims within spec, i knew something was fishy about that as is. my other friend actually had ID1000 injectors, and he was curious why his idle was so weird, and he researched and called ID and they said you have to remove the box for any high impedence injector regardless what the websites say, so i went and removed mine right away.

as is with just removing the box my a/f at idle went to 12.4 steady.

honestly i didnt even know these resistor boxes existed until now, this is my first time going overkill on a car setup

In removing the box , you mean take all the wires twist them together and tape them up?

yes. cut the harness and solder the wires at the end of the cut harness together and then plug the harness back up to the car. 1 2 3 done. very simple!

I've seen some websites mention that you have to disable and others fail to mention it...I suspect that the ones who are just selling parts and not evo specific aren't going to know that it's important to share the info with us.

I'm still thinking about doing the FIC 2150cc myself, I'd love to get a smoother idle/cruise for when I'm running 93 octane (usually)

you need to scale the injectors then with your fuel trims.. do a forum search ( how to tune) on here.. if you dont scale the injectors, the car will run like garbage period. and copy john bradley (aarons) voltage settings, they are spot on!
