DTC P04A0 - Has Anyone Ever Seen this?

After doing some work on the AC on my car last week I got a CEL on the 2nd startup (first start was just to pull it off the ramps and put it back in the garage). Evoscan 2.9 reported P04A0 . I can't seem to find any information in the FSM or on the net. Does anybody know what this code is for?

I simply cleared it and it never came back, but I'm curious as to what it is.

NOTE: thinking something in the newer version of Evoscan might have been messed up I tried the other ECU options and I believe the OBDII option (I'm not 100% sure which) reported P04B0 . I'd guess the 16 bit offset was just a misrepresentation of querying the wrong ECU type though.

IIRC, Evoscan 2.9 came with a free random number generator for DTCs.

It may have been fixed by now - try updating to the latest version. Check the release notes to see if a fix is mentioned...

I could never get PCMscan to work when I had tried it before.

I had a feeling that might be the case after I went back to look up the code, but unfortunately I had already cleared it. I think that was a problem with an older version. It had been cleared up at some point, but nice to see it roll back in .

Thanks guys.

I just got this after putting the stock turbo in. Along with P04E0 because some how my #4 coil wires got f'd up. I could only get 2.9 to read/clear ETCs, 2.8 cant read the ECU it seems. Maybe I need to get the correct definitions...
