FreeFuel ECU patch - a flex fuel implementation to Evo ECU
I was fine with paying for the flex fuel tune last year through one of the tuners.
I had set up the flex fuel sensor, wired to the ecu and was able to log through evoscan. When it came to paying for the tune, I was asked to buy the fitronic kit. I did not understand why I had to buy the fitronic kit, if I am able to log E% through the zeitronix ECA, then all that is needed is the actual rom/definition/tune. But the tuner refused, despite me paying for the tune. To this day, I was not tuned or refunded for the tune.

Just like Evo9_Dubai stated, I have the sensor etc.. already and don't really see a reason why I can't have FF setup if EvoScan is reading/logging E%
The free part is in the original post. It's a free flexfuel patch for the 96530709 Evo 8 ROM. Everyone seems to think this is about Fitronics though, which is not free.
If I get bored enough I will port the FreeFuel patch to an Evo 9 Rom, but I have very little incentive because I don't own an Evo 9 or even have an evo 9 ecu and everyone seems hell bent on Fitronics.
