Well aren't you just the brightest bulb in the box, very helpful and informative. No the title is what I chose it to be, and I never said I was blaming any of those things. All i did was assume it was related to those two things concidering they were just installed.

Agreed that the thread title is rather misleading.

I would be interested in seeing a log of the pulls just prior to the destruction.

Eehvoh, if you are on a tight budget, I'd suggest not modifying anything. Log, log, log, and log some more how the car sits. Learn what the car is doing, how it is doing it, and why it is doing it. Work up slowly and monitor the feedback from the car and you will be just fine. This is a case in which either the car was not mechanically sound prior to the modifications, or it was too much too fast without proper monitoring.

tha spring is off the top if a valve seal. i bet if you look at each of you valve stems through the spring you will see the seal riding the stem probably number 4...

I actually came upon your thread searching for results and experience from both of these parts. So yes, your title was misleading. I'm glad you've found that the issue was not from the parts though. Reading this thread has opened my eyes to the woes of tackling tuning by myself too. Hope you get your problem resolved.
