evo ix with gsc s2 cams, maps?
Hey guys, I am about to install the gsc s2 cams into my IX this weekend, just wondering if any of you guys would mind sharing your maps with me. Just looking for a good starting point once i get the cams installed. I have stock turbo, basic boltons (tbe, intake, licp, gs 3 port) and running fic 1050 injectors and dw300 pump, will be tuning on 93 octane.
Thanks for your help!

Ok, thanks for the info and for posting that map. Honestly didn't search that hard in that thread, I just wanted to see some examples of how different tuners approach the mivec maps, especially since this will be only a road tune. Dyno tune will come later

So I installed the mivec map above after my s2 cam install....honestly, the car runs like crap. Idle is all over the place, goes super lean then rich. WOT pulls are very rich, 10.1-10.2 range, whereas before they were around 11.1-11.2, and all I did was install the cams and flash in this mivec map. Would it matter that this map was for e85 and I am on 93? I am contemplating putting the jdm rs mivec map in and see what happens.

What do you mean "further in the tune?" Are you saying that the Mivec map is not the source of my problem? I know I need to make some fuel adjustments here and there, but it was pretty well dialed in before I installed the new cams and the mivec map posted above

Obviously I understand that the rest of the maps would be wrong if I am on 93 and he tuned his for e85, but my actual question is "Can I use JB's E85 Mivec map as a good starting point for my s2 cams on 93 octane?" I think it is looking like the answer is no, based on how my car is running.
Sounds like you are trying to focus on the Mivec map right now...Have you searched for the mivec tuning thread? It's 50+ pages long but has a lot of good info...
