evo9 ecu alternatives and wiring

Hi guys. Ive been trawling here a bit and have a couple of questions regards the evo9 ecu and bin files and wiring. it is a newb question but I hope it gets a answer in here.

I am building a g4js. So its a 6 bolt 2.4
I have been inspired to run mivec and will adapt it to my head. I have plans for the solonoid and sensors.

I am planning to run a evo9 ecu to control the mivec and engine. The ecu im looking for is a 1860a465. I have plugs and pins sorted.
The
Are there any other suitable ecu to look for such as 1860a217 or 218 (2007 eclipse 2.4 mivec)?
Will the auto 1860a218 ecu run a w4a gearbox without a tcu?
Is the best option to wire the ecu as a usdm (most advanced bin and tephra available to suit usdm) or for what reason should I wire as a jdm or audm?

Thoughts, considerations and help appreciated.
Jack

So what are ecu
1860a510
1860a576
1860a501 (edm fq320?)
Is the 510 the jdm and the 576 edm
Can they all be flashed to a usdm bin and will work when wired as usdm?

not off topic at all, my question was if its like 4g92 mivec ie second set of lobes on the cam and works by oil pressure locking the pins similar to vtec then the 9 ecu wont work it ,if its like evo9 mivec (vvt) closed loop then it will . jdm ecu is prob best suited then

Yep, fair point. My beer.
So evo 9 style, closed loop.

Do you have a link to your setup

But it's the software that hurts my head. How the different bin apply to each ecu and any physical changes these make to hardware on the engine.

Im using jdm evo9 ecu and 88570008 sd rom , i use a custom made pipe from oil filter housing to cyl head for mivec, i use map sensor and iat in the manifold as did jdm 9s . so that rom best suited my needs and had least amount of extra stuff to turn off in the ecu , wiring i had a 9 eng and ecu loom and my original evo 4 loom so added whats needed to 4 loom , ecu plugs/map sensor / iat / mivec solenoid / inlet cam sensor .

Awesome. That sounds real close to what would suit me.
Will that rom work on a 1860a465 ecu?

Pmd with some extra details.
Cheers

I have a USDM ecu and have run 8857/8858/8859/8884 all started the car and drive, I didn't tune most of them but they did start.

The core ix wiring differences are not significant. No rewire.. Addition or removal of certain sensors and emissions

Cheers. Sounds good.
I see in the back of the merlin guide there are small differences to the wiring between the different dm cars and the guide suggests it is possible to rewire to suit. This suggests that different country bins are ok,

So I have a 1860a465 coming in couple of weeks. Snail mail style.
