A friend of mine just picked up a 2012 gsr evo. He asked if I could tune it for him to get some power out of it. While I was taking a look at what the car has, which is 58010005 the only publicly found xml definition file I have seen for his car is from Golden, which I'm very grateful for. thank you for that.

I did see some posts about V1 being out for 2012 EvoX dating back 2 years, but those are not out for public sharing. Is there a possibility of attaining the V1 definition for 58010005 or should I just use a 2010 v1 and start porting and locating the address for tables correlating to 58010005 ecu? I'm not the greatest at using IDA pro or hexplorer though :/

 

V2 is coming out soon.

You can use a 2010 rom but you would need to bench the ECU.

 

That is great to know. I did not see this rom ID on the list of roms being done on V2. I will ask my friend if he would want to get v2 for his car when v2 comes out for that rom. Thanks for the heads up razorlab.

 

He's working on all the V2 roms right now
