bricked ecu got 0x1A response instead of 0x1B

bricked ecu got 0x1A response instead of 0x1B

Device Firmware Version: 1.16.4769

[18:34:31.178] got 0x1A response instead of 0x1B

so ive checked and triple checked and checked some more remade my bench set up and im 1000% sure the wires arent mixed up idk if i fried my ecu or my tactrix cable is bad but i preform a successful bench flash in recovery flash mode but every other option i get a J2534 error [ERR_TIMEOUT]. weither i read or write what do i do im just trying to get my car running its been two years

I just had that issue..too !

Bench flash your last good rom to it (in recovery mode) once this is done you wont be able to read the ecu.

Put your ecu back in the car and flash it normally one more time and you should be good to go !

I did that twice and it still didnt work lol i sent it out to be checked hopefully it isnt bad and i can just do my thing again
