I get this error when I open my ECU Flash and also can't read rom file.
 

I get this error when I open ECU Flash.(cable not connected)

The other problem is I cant read rom files with the ECU Flash. It does not show up when you click the open file. I have used my desktop and i can read the rom file but on my lap top I cant. The rom file http://www.speedelement.com/images/o...8%20JM9693.hex

it is because the cable is not connected.

I know that but I cant read the ROM file with my laptop but my desk top is ok.

I solved it might have been a bad download.
